MARRIAGE RECORDS

A Marriage Record is a certified or exemplified copy of a Marriage Application or Duplicate Portion of the Marriage License. There are many reasons why a person may wish to obtain a Marriage Record and our office is prepared to accommodate requests.

To obtain a Marriage Record, please send us a letter containing 1) the names that the parties used when they applied for a license, 2) the date of the marriage, 3) a self addressed stamped envelope.

In addition, you must send in two checks. The first for $15.00, made out to "The Clerk of Orphan’s Court". This is to pay for the research. The second check is to be for either $20.00 if you are ordering a Certified Copy or $40.00 if you are ordering an Exemplified Copy.
